Grade 7 Chess Player

Abdullah Ammar Ahmed, a student from Grade 7 at our school, is a talented and distinguished chess player. He is one of the players of the Khanzad Specialized Chess Club in Hawler, and won first place in the recent championship for the youth of Iraq in the under-14 category. Khanzad Club took second place in the tournament. Abdullah, aged 12, played in the under-16s category.
It is worth stating that a student at British International Schools In Kurdistan (BISK), Abdullah Ammar known as (Anar), is a leader in the Iraq Junior Championships, which will be held at the beginning of the month of October and will compete for the first, second and third places.
