On Tuesday February 16th, 2021, Mr. Nasir Younis, the Head of BISK Administration accompanied with the School Liaison, Mr. Rebaz and his assistant, Mr. Ahmed. The three BISK visitors met with his excellency ,Mr. Alan, The Minister of Education of Kurdistan Region to introduce the new board of directors. The meeting focused on several important points about the BISK school.
Mr. Nasir explained the current system and major changes within the school which reveal the fact that BISK is pursuing the instructions and guidelines of KMofE.
Mr. Nasir presented an overview of how BISK operates during the pandemic. The discussions were all productive and the school vistors asked the Minister to permit the grades 9-11 to attend the school every day as the mentioned grades are taking international examinations and the students need their teachers’ support in-person in order to be prepared for their assessments

Science Experiment

Grade 5 students in Ms. Rubar’s class did a Fair Test Investigation as they used solid materials to investigate whether each material is soluble or insoluble.

February 7th, 2021 was the first day of in-person classes for grades 1-11 in term two. With pursuing the instructions of KMOH and KMofE , BISK students are returned back to the school compound.
Despite the social distancing, teachers and students are excited to see each other in-person once again. Students were well-prepared and were ready for their classes.
We will make sure that the students with the help of the parents continue to follow the health and safety instructions.

Dear parents
Please be informed that following the KMofE’s decisions and guidelines, BISK will start its in-person classes for Grades 1-11 on Sunday, February 7th, 2021.
The students are expected to wear their school uniforms and report to school at 8:00 am.
