Early Years at BISK offers children, aged 3 - 5 years, a fun and educative experience in preparing your child for school.
At BISK we follow EYFS (Early Years Foundation Stage) which are the set standards for the learning, developing and care of children up to the age of 5 years in the UK.
Your child will be learning skills, acquiring new knowledge and demonstrating their understanding through seven areas of learning and development. We initially focus on developing your child in the three prime areas first. These are:
Communication and language
Personal, social and emotional development
These prime areas are those most essential for your child’s healthy development and future learning. The prime areas will then help your child to develop skills in four specific areas. These are:
Understanding the world
Expressive arts and design
These seven areas are used to plan your child’s learning and activities. Further information regarding EYFS can be downloaded in the attached booklet. A parents guidance book is also attached for your reference in relation to your child’s learning and development, and how you can support them at home.
